Benks ArmorPro Case for iPhone 16 Pro Review

Benks ArmorPro Case for iPhone 16 Pro

I have the Benks ArmorPro Case for iPhone 16 Pro in the house, and I will review it to find out whether you should buy it. There are two primary ways to ensure case compatibility with iPhone 16 Pro. You either include a capacitive button or provide a cutout. The Benks ArmorPro case has gone with the second option.

Before we proceed, if you would like to get the list of cases that include a Camera Control button instead of a cutout, you can click the link to read our list of recommendations.

Benks ArmorPro Case Review

The Benks case comes in premium packaging. I like the transparent front of the packaging as it showcases the product inside. You can see on the packaging that the case uses 600D Kevlar material, which is thin and light and provides good impact resistance.

The back of the box gives you more information about the case and the company. The unboxing experience is simple. There’s an adhesive plastic tab at the bottom. You can peel it off and lift off the transparent front to access the case. The case seats on foam material, and there’s a page showing instructions on how to install the case.

Taking the case out, I can tell you that it feels great. Both the inside and outside of the case feature Kevlar material, which is smooth to the touch.

Despite being thin and light, the case is MagSafe compatible, allowing you to attach all your MagSafe accessories.

The case fits the phone snugly. There’s no give, and it will not come out when you drop your iPhone. The case features precise cutouts for the charging port and speakers. I like the camera lens lip around the camera. It feels premium and sturdy.

The frame of the case features an anti-slip material to ensure a firm grip. I like the texture but worry that it also makes the case more susceptible to attracting lint and dirt. You have to clean the sides regularly.

The company says that the case provides 6 feet of drop protection. I won’t drop my iPhone willingly to test this claim. However, I can tell you that I have used this case for a week and dropped my phone once. I don’t notice any dents or scratches on the case, and it does seem to be sturdy.

The buttons on the case are okay, but they are not the best I have tested. They get the job done, and I never had to push them twice, but they are also not as tactile as I would like them to be.

The Camera Control cutout is good. I like that Benks and opted for a tapered cutout. It makes it easy to operate the Camera Control. I had no issues in using the Camera Control features.

As for how useful Camera Control is - that's a discussion for another day. Overall, I quite like the Benks case. You can see its pros and cons. We have also reviewed the Benks screen protector for the iPhone 16 Pro. You can click the link to read our review.
